The Nigeria Football Federation on Sunday declared the signing of Mr. Jose Santos Peseiro as the new manager of the senior men's team, of the Super Eagles.
The arrangement is, with quick impact, dependent upon the signing of terms between the NFF and Mr. Peseiro.
Jose Vitor dos Santos Peseiro is a Portuguese who played as a striker in his days and has wide and fluctuated experience training top clubs and international teams across four distinct mainlands, specifically Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
He will be helped by Ajax incredible Finidi George (first right hand), Salisu Yusuf (second assistant), Usman Abdallah (third assistant), and Ike Shorunmu (goalkeeper trainer).
Peseiro is an educationist with a degree in physical education/sports sciences, Peseiro has top-level coaching qualifications/training, and has coached at Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Panathinaikos, Rapid Bucharest, Sporting Braga, Victoria Guimaraes, Al-Hilal, Al-Wahda, Al-Ahly Cairo, Sharjah FC and Real Madrid (assistant coach during the Galacticos era), as well as serving as Head Coach of the Saudi Arabian and Venezuelan National Teams – a role he left in August 2021 over unpaid salary
The 62-year-old will make his bow during the Super Eagles' impending visit through the United States of America, during which they will take on Mexico and Ecuador in friendlies.
Do You Think He Will DO Better Than The Former Coach?
