Bale ´likely´ to move to English football as agent confirms Madrid exit

Gareth Bale could be set for a re-visitation of English football when his Real Madrid contract lapses one month from now, as per his representative Jonathan Barnett, who has affirmed the winger's unavoidable exit from the Santiago Bernabéu.

The 32-year-old previously looked set to leave Los Blanco toward the end part of his arrangement, with Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti saying last month that Bale needed "to complete on a high note" with the club.

While Madrid wrapped up their 35th league title as of late, Bale's part in that achievement was essentially nonexistent, with the previous Tottenham man showing up seven times in the entire season in all contests, totaling only 290 minutes of activity.

Bale has brought home four Champions League championships during his nine-year spell in the Spanish capital, scoring three goals in the finals of the competition (one against Atlético Madrid in 2014 and two against Liverpool in 2018).

Notwithstanding, he has drawn in the fury of the club's fans since he marched a banner bearing the trademark "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order" after assisting his international team with meeting all requirements for Euro 2020, and was depicted as a "parasite" in Spanish games day to day Marca recently.

He likewise implied Bale could get back to England next season, having gotten back to Tottenham on loan for the length of the 2020-21 season.

"Gareth will leave Real Madrid, yet we need to hang tight for what Wales will actually want to do," Barnett told Portuguese outlet Record.

"Everything relies upon whether Wales meets all requirements for the World Cup, then we will go with a choice, which might differ on whether Wales go to the World Cup.

"Is it safe to say that he is probably going to get back to England? I suspect as much, yet we'll need to keep a watch-out."

Wales will confront either Scotland or Ukraine on June 5 in Cardiff for a spot at the World Cup, where they would confront England after being brought into Group B.
